Edward Ng

Edward Ng is an Architect and currently the Professor of Architecture in the School of Architecture, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).  His expertise is in environmental and sustainable design and in urban climatology for city planning. He is the Director of the M.Sc. Sustainable and Environmental Design Programme at CUHK. As an environmental consultant to the Hong Kong SAR Government, Professor Ng developed the performance based daylight design building regulations and the Air Ventilation Assessment (AVA) Technical Guidelines. Among many other honours, he has twice been the recipient of the International Awards of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
