Ana Romero Càlix

Ana Romero Càlix is Head of  Sustainability and Education in the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (www.amb.cat). She is a specialist in climate change strategies and in the promotion of environmental awareness programs. Her current task is the implementation of the metropolitan plan of Education for Sustainable Development and the Metropolitan Carbon strategy that will lead to the reduction of 40% of the BMA emissions by the year 2030. As a private consultant, she has advised both public and private companies, and frequently collaborates with scholars, practitioners and citizens to research, communicate and transfer scientific knowledge.
